10" Pie Pan, Fluted, without handles
10” baking pan, without handles; hand-forged carbon steel; pre-seasoned.
Care and use:
• Made by hand-forging (hammering and shaping) carbon steel; Pre-seasoned and ready to use. Treat as cast iron.
• Add any food-safe oil as needed when cooking or baking. Hand wash; not recommended to use soap; warm water usually removes even baked on food. For extra stubborn stuck-on food, use soft abrasive as a nylon or bamboo brush, a Scotch-brite or similar scrubby, or even use coarse salt. Dry thoroughly and add thin layer of oil to the surface for storage or if the seasoning is wearing — can use any oil except olive oil not recommended, as it can go rancid. High heat oils are recommended.
• Deep and Pizza/Roasting Pans: 14 gauge carbon steel; safe for oven and grill; treat as cast iron • Large, Medium, and Small Pans: 10 gauge carbon steel; safe for oven and grill and also safe for stovetop on low to medium heat.
